Waking up to monkeys running in front of my room was a definite highlight, and the beach is sandy while the warm sea made for enjoyable dips. I also appreciated the proximity to a local fishing village you can walk to along the beach.
The room felt basic with ill-fitting sheets, and while the mattress was comfortable, hot water was more of a gamble than a guarantee. There was an occasional unpleasant fish smell from a nearby factory and the Wi-Fi was mostly unreliable. even at reception it was lacking. In total, things could use some polishing, especially with the room amenities and consistent water supply.

beach access, traditional room decor, peaceful atmosphere
The sheets were ill-fitting and not very comfortable!!! The nearby fish canning factory emits unpleasant odors depending on the wind direction, and a hot shower is not guaranteed!!! Some basic amenities could use an upgrade!!!

For me, a true 10/10. Calm, quiet, and clean. I loved staying in a simple, clean hut surrounded by a beautiful garden, with the ocean sounds soothing me all day. The friendly staff and delicious food topped it all off. Plus, I enjoyed excursions with the awesome local guide, Solomon. 🏖️

Monkeys at the doorstep!
Waking up to the sight of monkeys playing outside our room was an unforgettable start to our day. The warm sea and sandy beach made everything feel perfect during our stay.
The rooms are basic but need some touches for comfort, like better bed linens. be prepared for occasional spots of cold water and less predictable hot showers.

Amazing wildlife vibes!
Woke up to monkeys right outside our room, such a cool sight! The staff were super friendly and chatted with us like old friends. The beach was close, clean, and perfect for long walks. Only bummer was the room could've used a little sprucing up, but honestly, the good food and vibe made up for it.

Waking up to monkeys playing outside our room was such a fun start to our mornings! The beach was lovely with plenty of sun loungers to relax on, and I really enjoyed the calming head massage I booked. Just a heads up, the breakfast could use a bit more variety, but it definitely didn’t take away from the great experience overall! 🐒

Waking up to playful monkeys outside the room was a unique highlight. The homemade pastries served during breakfast were a delightful treat. the room had ill-fitting sheets, and the unreliable electricity hampered the experience, compounded by a strong fish smell from a nearby factory. the absence of consistent hot water was disappointing.
